Snowdon from Llyn Nantlle Uchaf

There was one view in Snowdonia above all else that I wanted to capture: Snowdon from Llyn Nantlle. I was inspired by a painting by the great 18th century landscape artist Richard Wilson (no relation – don’t think so anyway!) painted in 1765. And here’s my take on it. On this day the peak of Snowdon was obscured by a crown of beautifully fluffy cloud. Even the donkey in the left foreground appears to be rather enjoying the view!
