Boats are occasionally abandoned on the foreshore in Llangwm, lapped by the tides. Boats I remember from a decade ago which seemed as though, with a bit of refurbishment, could be re-floated, have now all but disappeared. Within half an hour the delicate pattern of frost crystals had melted away.
