Black Mountain Waterfall A few miles above Glyntawe on the Bwlch Cerrig Duon road I spied this waterfall in the shadow of Moel Feity which rises to 591 metres. Towards Pen y Fan and Corn Ddu This is a wonderfully panoramic view of two of the most iconic peaks in the whole of Wales - Pen y Fan and its marginally shorter neighbour Corn Ddu. The stunted windswept tree contrasts with the soaring height (781 metres) of Fan Foel in the far distance. The sheep of course were completely oblivious to my presence.
